Unique Baby Shower
Normally baby shower cakes are pretty standard. Pink for a girl, or Blue for a boy. I was thrilled when I got an email from a faithful client asking me to do a more unique one. The baby’s nursery decorated with an outdoor theme as well as the bedding. They had an idea of what they wanted for a cake, but of course I had to put my own spin on it, as I normally do. Here is the cake that I came up with.
I think my favourite part is the leaf for the baby blanket.
I love the little blue birds too.
Complete with the baby’s name.
And of course the matching cupcakes.
I love projects like this, mainly because I love when things match!
Congrats Melissa & Josh, I hope you’re little man is happy and healthy.

I have been watching this site for some time just out of sheer interest and would love to order a cake one day, but I just wanted to say that you are improving so much and these last few cakes especially this one is amazing.
