I had to post this, I’ve been waiting for it since June! This is why I love my friends.

Have a great weekend everyone!

New Wheels

She’s here! She’s finally here!

After almost a year of decision making, and a significant waiting period, cupcake has arrived (yes that is what I named her)

Of course we had to document her first delivery on the day she arrived no less. Here’s my husband Anthony loading the cake in the car.

The cake was pretty big, yes the car seemed to swallow it, lots of room!

Off we go!

Keep an eye out for her, if you see her driving slow, there’s probably a cake on board!

Have a great week everyone!!

Fashionista Cookie Week

As much as I love decorating cakes and cupcakes, I can’t hide the fact that I love making cookies. This past week I made a batch for a bride’s bridal shower in Toronto. Her colours were pink and white. The fashionista cookies are my most popular cookies and I was thrilled when those were the ones that she chose. There are endless possibilities to the design of these and they are different every time.

I had so much fun making these, I decided to have a special for the week of August 15th-18th, 2010. Put in any order for these cookies for that week and get the wrapping for free, leaving them at $2.00 per cookie. You’ll be able to pick any 3 colours and get them personalized to how you want them. They are perfect for bridal showers, birthday gifts or just for that diva in your life.

Minimum order is a dozen.

Cupcake Bouquets

I got a call from Toronto last week asking for a cupcake bouquet to be delivered to a client here in town. I jumped at the opportunity immediately. I was SO pleased with how it turned out, and what a great gift! Here is the small one that went out. It had 6 standard size cupcakes and 8 minis.

After I finished that, I thought to myself how cool it would be to make a huge one! It was my Auntie Dianne’s birthday party that same day, so why not take the opportunity to make her one too! Here’s hers.

When it was all said and done, this one had 16 standard cupcakes. They looked so good, and they vanished as soon as they went on the table. I need at least 3 days notice for these, please be aware of that upon ordering.

Thanks everyone, have a great week! New photos in the gallery too!!
